The Pool Math app asks type of pool with only plaster, vinyl or fiberglass as choices... My pool is natural concrete without plaster. Do I use the Plaster option for calculation purposes?

I thought the calculator was going to tell me what the target levels should be... I thought that plaster was different than concrete in terms of what was acceptable though.Use plaster in PoolMath

What keeps your concrete pool waterproof? Concrete is not waterproof.
Plaster and concrete are forms of cement.
Levels for CH don’t matter in a vinyl or fiberglass pool. Most levels are the same otherwise.

Sorry, I am new to this and don't know what keeps it waterproof. It looks just like rough concrete with small rocks/pebbles in it. It is the same brownish/grey of the concrete pool surround but a little rockier. It came with the house and we expect it is about 20 years old.

It is likely a form of plaster with pebbles in it. It is a color like concrete. Look at
