Trying to identify my skimmer

Hey All,

I have a new to me pool that is pretty old. We had it re-plastered but they did not replace the skimmer.

Right now it is pulling all water from the skimmer because we don't have a skimmer float valve in place (I believe that is the correct name).

From the attached image can you tell me what brand my skimmer is and if it is compatible with one of those valves? I would like to get my main drain pulling some water so that we can improve circulation.

The larger of the two holes is the main drain for reference.

Any help is much appreciated!

No picture attached. Is the port open when looking down into it? How many limes into the pump?

1 line goes from the skimmer directly to the pump.
1 line goes from the main drain to the skimmer.

It looks like the old Pac-Fab Skim Clean skimmer. The basket actually acts as a diverter valve to pull from bottom

Interesting. I wonder how well that works. I don’t have the original basket - I assume it will just be some guess and check to find the right one?
