I’m building a deck for my new pool but I noticed the water started to get green and cloudy. I backwashed the filter and shock the water, all levels look ok why the water still look green and cloudy ?? Help !!

How are you testing your pool water chemistry?

There is probably little correlation between your construction and a green pool.
Pools turn green because algae is allowed to grow. Algae grows in a pool where there is inadequate chlorine.

While treated wood has copper in a few forms in it, you would have to get a ton of sawdust in the pool and it would have to sit in there for a pretty good while in order to leach enough copper in the pool to affect the water.
I think Marty and Dave are leading you down the right path to find out what the issue is.
