To SLAM or not

I noticed something in my water, after reading I think it might be yellow algae but the CC is only barely registering. Right now my CYA is a little high (80) so I am questioning if I should go ahead and do the SLAM or give it a little bit to clear up if we are vacuuming and brushing everyday.
