Tips & Tricks to remove below surface debris

Hey folks,
So my handy robot removes the debris from the pool floor and my net removes the stuff on the surface, but how do you guys remove the stuff in between? We have a forest behind us and get a ton of small pine needles in the pool which float beneath the surface. Our skimmer does a nice job catching some of them on the surface but when i am swimming under-water i see so many. Any tips & tricks to be shared?

Do you run your pump non stop? If so, shut it down over night to allow the debris to settle on the bottom then deploy the bot.

Smart! I run it 6am - 10pm and deploy by bot around 8am. Will give that a try tomorrow. Thanks
