Timer issues

When I purchased the house 2 months ago I realized that the pump timer was not working and that the off tripper is missing.
My question is how easy is it to install a new timer? Should I call a local pool guy? Or is it an easy fix?
How much do they charge for this? I live in the southern California area.

It looks like there is a tripper in the bottom of the enclosure.

I did not see that!
But I think the timer is not turning properly it's been stuck at 8pm

Have you fiddled with the dial? Reset the time to make sure the face is engaged with the gears behind it and given it a little wiggle back and forth to unstick it? If so, then the 240v of that intermatic timer is fine.

The 240v option on that particular Amazon link says not rated or recommended for outdoor use. Make sure you get one that is.
