Hi everyone,
I have a standard on/off switch for my pool light, which is tucked away and a bit of a pain to turn on/off when desired. I'd like to swap out the switch mechanism for an electric timer so that I can set the light to come on automatically. I'd like to get feedback on whether there are any possible issues with this idea or with executing this swap.
Here is the current housing with the light switch...

Here is the timer that I would like to insert to replace the switch. It doesn't say that it is outdoor rated, but would be in the protective housing. Love to get thoughts on this.
