Help I was fiddling around with attaching my slice valve onto a part of my filter. I guess I tightened too hard and now I can't undo it. It's abs plastic. Any ideas?

Try warming the female part with hot water to get it to expand. Maybe put some dish soap or spray lube (silicone, teflon) into the threads.

A hairdryer or other heat can be used but don't overheat.

Also note that static friction is greater than kinetic friction. While moving, it takes less force than when stopped. That's why it takes more force to get it to come apart than it took to get it together.

It's the reason for antilock brakes. If the wheels lock, the tires slide across the road vs being static with respect to the road.
