I test my pool almost daily because of a random element in the form of the PB but that's another story.

Had it pretty cleanly balanced when they swapped out the final piece of the automation system and connected the SWCG correctly finaly and jacked the SWCG up to 65%. I measured CL and we peaked at 18. No idea why they did this but that's a little spicy for my taste. I turned it down to 0% to get it back into zone but it'll be a few days.

Is the TA OK here? It is absolutely rock solid at 100-110 and not dipping. Pool has needed about 1.5 gallons of 20 baume muriatic acid to rein in PH. Is that the plaster curing and ok or no? Do I have enough calcium - seems like there's a wide spread of what is considered good.

TA is fine. Manage the pH. Plaster curing will cause pH to rise for quite some time. Do realize that the pH test is not reliable at FC above 10 ppm. So let the FC drop some and retest.
CH is fine.

The scale on the CYA tube is logarithmic, not linear. If the CYA reading falls between any marked numbers, round up. Anything between 30 and 40 is rounded up to 40.
