TF 100 Total Alkalinity

Simple question, Pool Math shows TA should be between 70-90 but the paperwork I received with my TF 100 states the TA should be between 100-120 for manually chlorinated pools (which is what have)
What range should I be using?

TA is a value that can be pretty much ignored unless you have high CH from your fill water.

The range in the above link is designed to protect your pool surface as long as the pH, TA, and CH can be kept in those ranges.

The TA range given in the TF100 is from Taylor. The forum does not follow that. It is based on using trichlor for chlorination purposes.
