Test results after pool opening and water going through system for 12 hours

I'm just cleaning the filter just now then going to get it going again. Worth waiting another 12 hours and testing again or should I start getting chemicals in?
When Pool Sharks opened the pool for us they put something in but then disappeared without telling us what.

Ok, Scotland.... Lets get some FC, CYA and some muriatic acid in there! Don't hesitate on the FC!!

Do you use PoolMath - use that to guide you.

Is the water clear?

Add liquid chlorine to get to 3 ppm FC now.

Address they pH but high is better than low right now. Assume your pH is 8.2 and target 7.6. Add that amount of acid and check again tomorrow.

OK thanks. Pool water defo has a green tint! lol.

Once I'm finished with the filter I'll get on pool math and get moving.

If water is green take the FC to 10 ppm (20 ppm CYA). Add 10 ppm CYA via the sock method and then raise your FC target to 12ppm. Test several times per day and add LC as necessary.
