Taylor K1766 Salinity Testing Error with Boric Acid

Just decided to take the Boric acid plunge for the first time. After doing so I tested my salinity with a fresh Taylor K1766 Kit. Twice my result was the same. I am getting milky (I know that's normal until it turns maroon) foaming kind of consistency and the color will not turn maroon color at all. I know I have at enough salt, because the SWG produces excellent chlorine level. The Jandy SWG sensor also reads good levels at 3.0. Does anyone know if the recent addition of Boric Acid (20lb @12,000gal) can cause this test to react abnormally?

I use Boric Acid and never had a problem with the K-1766 Salt Test. I think you need to look elsewhere for your problem.
