Tanning oil in pool

My wife likes to use a tanning oil but I've been told this is waaaaaay bad for a sand filter. Something about the oils clumping the sand together. I told her if she uses the oil she can't get back in the water until she showers it off. Does anybody know of a good oil-free tanning lotion?

Pig Mats are a good choice too. I use them in my garage.
