HI
We just a tonne of rain & everything went off balance got diluted so now my pool is cloud and I'm preparing to shock. We've learned over the years to get the pH right before going into shock. So my numbers are:
CYA 45 (will increase post SLAM)
FC ~6 (needs to increase but see question)
pH 7.4
TA 100
Salt ~2700ppm (added)
The recommended levels would be a lower TA (60-80) but a higher pH (7.6 -7.8) which is contradictory as high pH = Alkaline, low pH = acid
should I add more sodium bicarb to increase the pH? or just commence my SLAM?
Many thanks!
