SWG/Heater Replacement Cost

Hi all-

Had someone come out to give us a quote on replacing a pool heater and a SWG. Was quoted:

SR400NA2 400K BTU NG IID MAX-E-THERM LOW NOX HEATER $4,699.99
AQR940 Hayward Aquarite Salt System 900 40k Gallon $2,799.00

The prices seem a bit high to me based off what I've looked at online. Thoughts? Any issues with the recommended products themselves?

Pool company installed costs are about 2X what you see on the internet for the equipment.

Those prices are in the ball park.

If Your handy around the house can do it yourself and save ( check and verify with manufacturers )
I installed my Hayward heater 5 or 6 years ago which replaced an older heater.. hardest part was getting it off the pallet and onto the pad but I did it alone.
