SWG: dissassociate ORP sensor but use the PH Sensor

Hi Gang,
In my second season and the ORP sensor has failed...it can't keep a reading so SWG turns on at 100% and doesn't shut off. PB has turned in a warranty claim (2nd week awaiting the warranty claim) so I can get a new one but I've read this:

How To Disassociate Intellichlor & Intellichem

So my question:
Is there a way to dose % for SWG to not use the ORP probe, but use the PH probe to dose the muratic acid? The PH sensor is spot on so I wanted to keep that capability if possible.
Thanks for anything!

Isn't that what the Further Reading page describe how to do? Control the Intellichor cell with its % generation while the IntelliChem controls acid doses.

Ok I think I got it! I wasn’t absorbing the dual action only the disassociation. I followed step 1 and step 2 (see screen shots). So if I’m now tracking these directions when I set my SWG to 60% toggle and superchlorinator on and then return to ScreenLogic config to recheck box for intellichem present the chlorinate is now on until I shut it off?

So I’m seeing now any numbered % value means it’s on and super-chlorinator would be if you’d want to up the cell so high as to ‘SLAM’ ( I use that term lightly) but why would you unless u want to shorten the cell life. Thank u Hansatb for being the smart one! I am free of the ORP probe..thank goodness!

I can’t thank you guys enough for this site and all the members who help out so owing a pool can be enjoyable!😁

The IntelliChlor has a cycle time of 5 minutes. That means if it is set to 60% it produces chlorine for 159 seconds of each 5 minute period.

When you set it to Super Chlorinate it generates at 100% for 24 hours then resets to the generation %. That is not enough chlorine for a SLAM FC level. And you hardly shorten the cell life by more then one day.

Running the IC60 at 60% for 24 hours would produce 8 ppm of FC.

Running the IC60 at 100% for 24 hours would produce 13 ppm of FC.

I have one more related question to this. I am going to be traveling and will be using my iphone 12 to turn on the intellichlor. Since I've dissasociated my intellichlor from my ORP sensor I need remote access to BOTH IOS apps Screen logic and Screen logic Config so I can monitor PH as well as turn on SWG. I have remote access to Screen Logic no problems but remote access to Screen logic Config gives me "error Gateway not found and then searching for system controller". There are no previous connections in screen logic config but I assume name is pentair: xx-xx-xx (same as device that I own) and password is what I set my screen logic remote login to? I have access to screen logic config local no problems as well. I have read a few articles on this site for screen logic but I am not techie and am not sure what my exact issue could be. Any info is helpful. Thank you!
