I have a Dolphin robot which is a great pool cleaner, really like it. Works well for past couple years, no issues.
Problem is due to some issues with my back I can't lift it out of the pool any longer when its done cleaning in order to remove and clean the filters. Those things get pretty heavy when they are full of water.

I need to down grade to something simpler and lighter.
Its a 16 x 30 in ground pool with a shallow and deep end, in FL so never close it down. Screened in so no big debris ever just a lot of sand, silt that is constantly building up in it.
I'd like something that will actually pick up that sand-silt type of stuff and not just spread it around.
Are those manual vacuum-sweeper things with the long poll much of a hassle?
Any ideas appreciated, it just needs to be a lot lighter than those quality robots like the Dolphin.

Do you have plumbing for a pressure or suction cleaner?
