We signed a contract with a pool builder, who we don't trust anymore due to many things that, we found out after signing. They changed most of the equipment to a cheaper version after verbally promising/discussing something else. Now, for everything they are asking more and more money. In the past, they had just sent an email to us saying that, they did mistake in price and if we don't pay more than contract is cancelled. We raised the price and signed the contract again but now they've changed equipment. They've also not communicated any update after we signed the contract, and it has been 2 weeks. We don't trust these folks anymore and fear that, they might take our money and run away anytime. Could someone please suggest the best way to come out of the contract?

Sorry you are having such a bad experience. If you are serious, I would advise talking to an attorney.

It may be cheaper to just live the contract out and replace the pieces of equipment as they fail. However, I live in Florida where homeowners have almost no rights in contracting law.
