Stenner pump issue

Hi,

The stenner pump is pulling chlorine around the rollers and out the the other side. Chlorine is dripping out when I remove the tube on the outbound side of the pump. When connecting the tube, no chlorine comes out at the end that connects to the PVC. Nothing is coming out of the tube even if I disconnect the black connector that enters the PVC. Is this a leak or is there another fix? Thank you

Having owned a stenner for a few years now, there’s one of three likely culprits based on what you described.

1) the tube is worn out and even though bleach is coming out it’s not of sufficient pressure to push it further.
2) your black tube is plugged; try and thread heavy fishing mono down it or run water through it to flush it
3) the rollers aren’t fully engaged

Stenner is a pretty simplistic pump, why they are so reliable. If one of the above isn’t the answer post back and we can troubleshoot further.

Thanks. The black tube was plugged. I used a screwdriver to unplug it and then screwed it onto a hose and turned it on. Water started to slowly come out and then all of a sudden it came out super fast. Thank you for your help
