Our 17-yr old pool in NW Houston was not looked after well by previous owners and is in serious need of renovation. But I didn't realize it was going to involve so many decisions! The advice from TFP has been invaluable to us over the last three years and now I'm hoping you can come through and help me with these ponderings...
1. Stonescapes/PebbleScapes/Jewelscapes/basic plaster. Pros? Cons? Do they last well or just look pretty?
2. Push the budget now for pool deck, or wait until we save a little more? I feel like I've read somewhere that it's cheaper to do it all at the same time - probably reduces chance of damage?
There are so many more questions... but those are the most debated in our house at the moment.
