Started SLAM but do to weather need to drain

Started my SLAM yesterday and then the skies opened up last night but I need to get the pool back to a reasonable water level. I understand that some dilution isn't a concern as long as I keep my shock FC but with a several more inches on the way, I don't know quite what to do?

Go ahead and lower the water as needed to keep it at the appropriate level to your skimmer. Validate the CYA & FC and press-on with the SLAM.

Thank you Texas Splash, current conditions are heavy downpour, pool overflowing, lol. It's a mess.
