Skimmer Basket + Vacuum Hose

I have a pretty useless in floor cleaning system, so I am using a vacuum instead. I have to run the hose through the skimmer to run the vacuum, so I don't have a skimmer in place when the vacuum is running. Are there skimmer baskets or skimmer basket mods that will allow the basket to be in place while the vacuum hose is also plugged in? It seems like the pressure valve attachment for the vacuum allows enough flow through the skimmer for the basket to work if I had something in place.

Theres an adapter plate
Many manufacturers make them- do u know what brand your skimmer is? If you do that brand may fit best. Here’s a generic one 👇
