I have had to excavate a spot for my 12x24 intex pool, it is level enough that there is a fairly equal dispersion of water puddling with today's heavy rain. Is this a good sign that the remainder can be handled with the sand? I used backhoe and then loader bucket to distribute. Most of the work was done about a month ago, is this enough time for settling or do I need to rent something to further pack it. I have driven tractor quite a bit and used loader bucket to tap it down and drag to pack it.

I would do all possible to get the whole thing level and packed as possible before the sand. Much better now, than later dealing with a full unlevel pool. We see it all the time, and its a Royal PITA. Just sayin...
