I am thinking of replacing my Pentair Superflo single stage with a variable stage Pentair. I currently have a 1.5 hp. I want to stay with pentair due to not having to change the plumbing much but I am lost as to what pump might work with my electricity and needs for circulation. I have an in ground vinyl pool that is roughly 28000 gallons. I realize it will be more expensive but my old pump is showing some wear and I have replaced a few gaskets so I am guessing it will wear more this year. I am in Indiana so we are winterized from October to April. Thanks for any input you might give. This is the one I was thinking about.

That pump should work fine for your situation.
