Sand or Cartridge filter???

As a newbie looking after 2 pools (1 is SWG) which is best sand or cartridge?

The salt pool is large and has twin Astrel (42' 06804) filters which are very large! As they are leking and may need to be replaced, should I go for cartridge? The pool is 90,000 gal.

With a 90,000 gal pool I can't imagine cleaning the cartridges for it. I think I'd stick with sand. It's easier to clean on a regular basis. IMO.

As a cartridge filter owner, I can say that I agree with Bama here. 90K gallons is a very large pool and it would be much easier to go the sand route.
