Sand in pool

I’m getting sand in pool specifically when I take the cleaner out for a day or two and just use the pool plumbing in bottom of pool with skimmer. It’s defiantly sand and I do not have a sand filter. It accumulates near the returns in the pool as it blows out and settles. Does this mean a possible leak in the plumbing? Thanks for the help

That's interesting. Are you close enough to the coast for sand to blow in, or is your pool constructed in a sandy area or on a base of sand? Now would be a good time to update your signature with all of your pool and equipment info. We'll need to refer to it as well. See mine as an example.
