Rusty pool leg

I have an 18 x 52 Intex ultra frame pool. There is about 3" of rust on 1 leg on the bottom of the pole. I bought a new one my plan is to drain most of the way down then change out old for new. Any ideas ?

not sure how much room you need, but I have seen videos of people jacking the legs with the pool full. here is a post about leveling - Successfully jacked up an Intex/Summer Escapes pool

one I saw but can't find now was a guy who built a big lever with 2x6s and hung a bucket of sand or something off the end so he barely had to push on it. pretty ingenious.
