Replacing Hayward SuperPump II 1 HP

you really want to run the lower RPM, 1100 to 1500 would be a great starting place.. no need to run any higher than that..

Also, you really want a VS pump to have power at all times.. You can keep it connected the same way you have it and pull the pins or you can move the power to the load side and use the timer side for a Salt water generator..

Also VS pumps HATE, and I mean HATE power/lightning spikes... install one of these surge protectors on your power panel before the pump.. It will save you in the end..

I have one for my pump, one for my air conditioner, one for my whole house and a surge protector on each power outlet in the house :)


Discount salt pool are a really great bunch of people... and nice pump choice...
