I have the Haywood sp2607x10 currently. It’s on the way out. Loud bearing noises.
I like the VS 1.65hp. But not really the $1000 plus price tag.
Can I upgrade my 1hp to a single speed 1.5 hp?

1.5” pipes. Sand filter. Chlorinator tablets.
20,000 gallon pool. I have my current pump on a timer. Pool is open 8 months a year. Charlotte NC.

I would recommend you go with a V-Green 2.7 hp motor only if the wet end is in good shape. If you go this route you'll need to upgrade the impeller and diffuser that are used on the 2.5hp Hayward model and will be most efficient over the V-Green 1.65 hp.
