Replaced Hayward super pump shaft seal, now leaks with pump off

My pump had started leaking when the pump is running from where the motor meets the pump housing .

I ordered a go kit and changed the shaft seal and diffuser/seal gaskets.

now when I put everything together it’s leaking when I fill up the strainer basket.

I have taken the bolts off several times to reseat them and they seem to tighten fine. I even put the original gaskets back in andit still leaks out just as fast aa my hose fills up the strainer.

I have ordered a new go kit in case the one I had contained a bad seal. Is there anything else I should be checking for?
