Remote Control for Heater

I have a RayPak 266A Pool/Spa heater, that says it will allow me to Connect a 3-wire remote to it. Will any Thermostat work? maybe something like this PID Programmable Temperature Controller Ramp Soak Kiln 60 Set points Relay Output 1/16 Din °F °C

anyone out there used or installed a wired remote?

Welcome to TFP.

You should use the 2 wire "firemans switch" to turn the heater on and off. It just needs a relay to close or open the circuit.

How will you sense the pool water temperature to get the water to the desired temperature?
