Hello! It's pool closing day here in SW Michigan. I have a 24' AGP (13,500 gallon) pool. Pool is perfectly balanced (and has been since I discovered this site 3 months ago), crystal clear, and water temp is a bone-chilling 41 degrees. I have a 32-oz bottle of ProTeam's Polyquat 60 sitting in front of me. The directions on the bottle for the starting dosage says "add 6 to 11 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons of water." I thought I read somewhere in a pool closing article on this site that I should go with the "max" starter dosage of this stuff when specifically used to close the pool? So that said, I'm going to add 15 ounces and let everything cycle for a few hours before shutting the pump down and putting the cover on. Am I correctly calculating the PQ 60 dosage for closing my pool? Thank you!
