Had a good algae bloom and had to clean my filters. A couple days after working on the algae my pressure was up and thought I needed to backwash the dead/filtered stuff and then:
I was starting my backwash and after my first backwash cycle I turned it to filter for about 10 seconds. I caught my mistake right away and turned it off and back to backwash. ( I did finish my normal backwashing and rinsing cycles after I checked the pool when I noticed I had turned it to filter instead of rinse. Water looked fine and wasn’t cloudy. ) Is this a huge problem? Have I put DE into my pool? If so, how can I remedy this? New to pools....kept repeating in my head “backwash, rinse, backwash, rinse, backwash , rinse!” But I didn’t have my glasses on
