I have a Pentair motor 1 1/2 hp. That comes on and after 2seconds shuts down Sets for a short time (20 to 30 seconds) and does the same thing again. This will continue as long as there is power to the motor. I pulled the pump from the motor and there is no restrictions. The impeller spins fine. Tried running with pump disconnected with motor just sitting there and had same on / off results. Pump is wired to electronic timer that seems to work correctly.
