Hi Guys, recently the pump is making a lot of noise , I think is the motor but now 100% sure as this is a very old pump too.
Any suggestions for a replacement, either motor only or the whole pump?
Please help !
I have a friend who is certified electrician so installation should be easy.

You are in California so you must replace with a Variable Speed motor.

I would suggest you contact Inyopools. They have VS pumps that meet California requirements. Good warranty for a DIY install.
