Maybe I'll try and adjust the filter cover later on. Finally got all the fiberglass out of my arms from cleaning it the other day, but oh well. The Ortega valve is still leaking slightly... and the backwash leaks slightly after I backwash it. I think the whole filter is just old and maybe is the source of some of my issues. Will definitely look into that new O ring and replace the backwash valve when I move my equipment.
