Hi! We are putting a small fiberglass pool (Latham Milan, 10x16) in, and are surprised by the installed cost of a pool cover ($11,300 plus $2540 for concrete lid) and a heater (pentair 400btu for $5625). Is this in line with what we should expect?
Thanks everyone!

That's a little on the covid high pricing, but 10k is average for a cover. Any reason your going with 400k btu heater? That's a 3 to 4 degree an hour temo rise in that size pool. A 250 is plenty may save some money unless you plan to hot tub this pool. Price if including underground piping is in reason. Length of run amd meter sizing plays into price

Automatic covers are EXPENSIVE. I know for our pool we had the option of a heater (not sure the exact size because we aren’t getting it). But it was $2500 (plus the cost of running gas lines) for a 14’ 6” x 28 FG pool
