Preventing Hayward Colorligic LED light from leaking

I am currently getting 2 Hayward color logic LPCUS11100 LED lights installed into my new pool. I have heard that they may start to leak or malfunction after a year or two. Are there ways to prevent them from leaking before they are installed so that they will last for a long time? Is there any type of caulking or sealant that should be added? Thanks.

That is a good question. Here is a bump to see if anyone has any ideas.

Thanks for the bump. I'm just getting a little worried that the LED lights will begin to flicker and go out much earlier than the LED bulb going out on its own. Any ideas or experiences with this LED light would be appreciated.
