Finally got where I needed to be after 3 SLAMs rinsing filter twice a day and adding calcium chloride (I think) based off strips, We finally have clear water!!! I am waiting for my TF-100 test to come for more accurate readings, strips are registering slightly high ALK. ANYWAYS... I ordered a new pressure gauge with my test since ours quit on us. I am to just wrap plumbers tape around the threads? no grease or anything required to install? Its really that easy? We have a Jacuzzi cfr50 pump with a UNICEL cartridge filter.
