I will be setting up and filling my pool this week. Is there any reason why I couldn't pre-disolve my CYA in a bucket of water so I can bring up the levels quickly after filling the pool?

Ha, I was just searching for that. The sock method is easier and better. I think I described CYA as turning to cream cheese in my post. It is just tough to dissolve.
I have tried putting some in a 5 gallon bucket but took a long time to dissolve.
