I live in NJ, how many pounds of chlorine do you need to run a 38k gallon pool per day. I'm looking at swcg and don't want to have to run my system for over 8 hours and want to get a swcg that produces enough chlorine.... thanks.

The largest residential SWCG are rated for 60K pools. You will need one of those, but in the summer you will need to most likely run your pump at least 12 hours per day to generate the chlorine needed.

What Marty said. The biggest residential cell is the Circupool RJ60+ and you would have to run that 12 hours a day at 100% to get 3ppm.

In NJ your pool may only use 2ppm and you can get that with 5 hours of runtime.

So that gives you the range depending on your pools FC needs during the season.
