Jug size has no effect on how much you have to add to raise the FC to the desired level, only the concentration percentage.
Just play around with the jug size, it will still tell you to add 18 ounces of bleach.

If you are adding a large amount of chlorine, then jug size does kind of come into play. If you were going slam and needed to raise your FC level by a lot it will tell you something like this for example:
Add 220oz
or 1 gallon, 3 quarts
or 1.7 (128 oz) jugs
As you stated, the number of ounces to add is still valid, but you’ll have to do your own math to figure out how many jugs that is.
