Hello everyone.

I have a 16x32 freeform pool that is 3 weeks new. Although it uses sale, I'm waiting 30 days and currently on liquid chlorine.

Attached to the pool is a 7' diameter spa with 5 jets. It is 18" above the pool with a spillover. They share a pump and I have a heart pump as a primary source for heating the pool and gas heater to get spa up to higher temps (105).

Right now, I'm not using any heaters. To early on pebble sand it's 80 degrees outside.

I've been balancing the water nicely and using the TFP method. Question for me is... Do I need to balance the spa separately or will all of the water be balanced based on my tests done and chemicals added from pool?

Thanks

A spillover spa sends pool water to the spa and that returns to the pool over the spillway. So it is all one water system.
