Pool Slide Pump

Hello, I have a pool slide with a separate pump from the main pool pump. Any issues with running the slide without running the main pool pump? Pic attached (the slide pump is on the right). Don’t want to inadvertently burn up a motor. Thanks

It looks like your slide pump shares the suction line with your main pool pump but is not dependent on it for water flow. Looks to me like it should operate independently. @mas985 what do you think?
