It's been a long cold 6 months of winter....pool is finally open, the water temp is only 46, but it's open!!

I seemed to hold a decent amount of FC (6ppm) since November, I was pleased to see that. After all that time, the water is sparkling clear!!.

Any next steps to keep the water great all summer would be appreciated....still new to this.

CYA - less than 30. Test tube was filled to the top and could still see the dot (repeated the test many times). Must have lost it all due to partial drain in the fall and refill now??

FC - 9
CC - 0
PH - 7.4-7.6 (5 drops of R-0005) brought the PH test to 7.2 (not sure how to take this??)
CH - 140
TA - 180

Hey Matt, welcome back! Congrats on the clean opening. Yes, I would increase the CYA to 30. Everything else looks fine at the moment. Some might be concerned with the TA being a little high, but as long as the pH isn't climbing too fast, I'd leave it alone for now. So increase the CYA a bit and do some standard cleaning. Get ready for some warmer temps soon. :swim:
