Pool Math App Issue

I am trying to put in some testing numbers from a few days ago, but I keep getting the message "Did Your Phone Go Swimming" and a disclaimer about not being able to "connect to the clouds, check the weather and try again." If I add something using current/day time (as in I don't modify it) there isn't an issue. Am I missing something?

This is the Android version on a Galaxy Tab.

Let’s try this,

Can you force close the App then reopen to try again?
I did that a couple of times (as well as clearing the cache) but it still did it. Nonetheless, when I tried it a few minutes later, I had no issues. So, not sure if it's a connectivity issue (I don't *think* that is a problem on my end) or an app issue.

I'm getting this issue on iPhone all the time. Definitely not a connection issue, since other apps work fine connecting (Outlook/darksky/FB/Youtube).
