Pool Dug and Poured 8” off

We have just had an in ground pool dug. The guys dug the pool measuring off our fence which we told them was not straight.

It appears they referenced the north fence and spaced it 62 inches at both ends even though the drawings clearly show different distances. Now it’s all skewed. The red is where the pool has been placed.

Is there anything that can be done about this? Any and all ideas welcome!

Yeah, tell the builder to come back and straighten out the dig. It may cost him some gravel to fill in areas that were dug unnecessarily.

We have seen these dig errors before and the builders correct them. Youa re lucky you figured it out at this point. We have seen it discovered after gunite is shot.

What do you mean "poured" ? If it's just "dug" then you're fine. If something has been "poured" then you may not be.

Maybe the collar? After putting the walls in, our vinyl liner got a collar poured around the outside.
