Good morning,
We came home from a weekend out of town to a green cloudy pool. We have been slamming the pool which is now no longer green but still cloudy. My ph is low possibly below 7.0 TA 40 FC 15. Should try to raise the PH and TA now or wait for FC to go down first?

Assuming you followed the SLAM process properly, cloudiness following killing algae requires filtration. Have you been running your pump 24/7? Backwashing (for sand) or cleaning your filter appropriately (once clean pressure raises 25%)? Usually takes a few days for the filter to do its job. Just keep brushing and keep your FC in the proper range for your CYA.

To answer your question, leave them both alone until you finish the SLAM. Once you have passed the three criteria that ends the SLAM, then let your FC drift down and retest the pH and TA before you adjust.
