polaris 9550 cable change

Guys I have a bad cable on the 9550 and I am going to change it myself. There are 2 cable chooses.
1) standard cable no swivel $200
2) Newer design with a swivel $300

The question is the swivel worth $100 price difference?

Did you have a swivel on your old cord? Did you have issues with the cord tangling?

My Maytronics robot has a swivel. It helps untangle the cord, but does not really prevent it from twisting up.
