Hello , so we just had our pool plastered 2 days ago, we went with Aqua cool mini with blue glass beads . The water filled , and it's had a few chemicals added. The problem is , the color we are seeing of the water , is not even close to what we saw online and YouTube for Aqua cool!

anyone , know why ?
The first picture is our pool, it is cloudy.
2nd pic is what we saw a lot online

You need to give it a few weeks for the color to balance with chemicals and plaster curing.

Thank you, so the pool chemistry is balanced. The color still looks green, I looked at the plaster seems a lot more brownish/off white then white . I'm praying that once it cures it gets lighter, I've pulled up 100s of aqua cool pictures non look this green

I would give it time but then if it doesn’t change then approach your pool builder. Did you take a close up of the step before it was filled? Did it look white then?

No it didn't look white , they acid washed it the next day it still looks off white/brown

I found this image on google for Aqua cool mini pebble. I would say it looks pretty similar to what you have. I think it will be ok and the color should start to change within a few weeks. :giggle: And it looks like the installers did a great job too!

It looks a little more green compared to mine but I would give it more time
to cure. It also depends the sun’s reflection. I’m in Florida and have Aqua Cool Mini Pebble with a Touch of Glass in Blue Cobalt with approximately 300lbs of glass and this is what our pool color looks like...

One other thought... I had some pool work done about a year ago, so I had to drain it and refill it. I was pretty surprised at how green it looked after the refill- after all, that’s TAP water that I drink!
The green hue did die down, but it took a few days of filtering and chlorine.

Yes that's the color we were going for, but looking at the actual plaster our seems a bit off white /brown. Yours seems like a true white base . We also had hand tossed cobalt blue beads

Yes this is a week after filtering and balanced chemicals, the plaster seems to be the problem . The plaster is off white/brown

It may be the color of the rock itself, your mix appears to have more gold rock that white. This could make up for the color difference and off white look. Here is a cole up of one with white rock no gold.
